Chilly Hudson Ice Box

Well, the today’s cold temperatures got me thinking about ice boxes. And I actually have my grandparent’s old Hudson Ice Box. The oak ice box is probably from about 1900-1920 before the availability of electric and modern refrigerators. At first I was unsure how to use this antique. It is beautiful but I like to be able to “use” anything I collect. My solution is I have my ice box in the dining room and it is used to store my linens and table clothes.

  1. Does anyone know anything about the manufacturer of the Hudson ice box. I have recently restored one and can’t find any information with a google search.
    Thank you
