Buffalo Pan American Exposition 1901

The Pan American Exposition in 1901 was held in Buffalo New York from May 1 to November 2.  The fair was 350 acres and was held in the 8th largest city in the United States. An exciting time in history that even a US president came to visit the World’s Fair. There were educational exhibits showing electricity generated by Niagara Falls or people from far away lands. The wonder and excitement of science and faraway lands  in your hometown was a heady experience for early 20th century Buffalo residents.
